The Toomer TD looked good we all saw it like 5 times.

It was close but looked good. I suppose this is like the shuttle disaster where there are a bunch of secret camera angles we will never get to see.

Also the Shockey catch and fumble late in the game that would have made a chip shot for the FG unit, that was the call the refs blew. Why dont we hear about that?

The Giants should have won outright, and I'm not talking about the 3 long field goal misses.

rob ur right....giants should have won outright. I dunno what people are thinking by saying Toomer didnt score that TD. He clearly had both feet in - including his heel. Im not real sure on the ruling with Shockeys TD...maybe he dragged his toe before he got blasted.

what lost this game for new york was penalties...not Jay Feely. Your not gonna win many football games by committing 16 penalties for 114 yards....11 of which were false starts.

Thanks for agreeing with me and adding more good points Hellah.

I wasnt sure if I was off my rocker or not. The Giants pissed that away on their own with those false starts. It has to be close to some kind of record.

That TD by toomer was an exciting moment in the game and great presence of mind to get that 2nd foot down. I hope he doesnt see that BS article. Now someone go email it to him. (j/k)

There were actually 3 questionable calls...the Toomer TD, the Shockey TD, and the Shockey fumble/incompletion. The Toomer call looked correct; the Shockey TD, even the announcers noted that Shockey didn't touch the ground with both feet and therefore it should have been called an incompletion; and the Shockey fumble/incompletion call could have gone either way, but since the fumble was recovered by the Giants anyway, it actually helped the Seahawks to call it an incompletion.

So that's why I lost my 4 team parlay. Must admit I thought the Shockey TD was incomplete.

Anyway glad I laid off my bet and I'm thumbing my nose at all those who say "if you placed it stay with it and don't buy any back"

The two have nothing to do with each other. Don't forget, decisions would change because the score would be different. If the Shockey TD did not count, the Giants would have kicked the FG so thats only a 4 point difference. Since the Seahawks would have been up 5ish, I would not have been surprised if Holmgren didnt kick the field goal in the 4th quarter instead of going for it on 4th and inches. Which would make it still an 8 point game. If he did still go for it on 4th down, then the Seattle defense would have played a prevent to try and kill time, good chance of a backdoor cover in that situation. There is really no way in telling that those calls caused Seattle bettors to lose. There were many ways the Giants still covered that game without those calls. It was just a bad weekend, we have all had them. But the week is over and a new week has started. Time to look at this weeks game and find our winners.

And for the record, I also lost with Seattle on Sunday, just one of plenty of losers for me last week. This week is a new week, one full of plenty of prospective winners.

the shockey TD was not a touchdown....even my mom thought so! But don't sit here and say that kicker would've made the FG cause who knows the way his day went!

he caught the ball in middle of the endzone and someone jacked him up...he never really had control of the ball and both feet down.

I'm still sick about it. The Shockey TD had to be overturned. It was not.

I was watching the game, Shockey didn't get both feet down therefore incompletion. I don't understand how the call wasn't reversed they must of showed the replay on tv 10 different times. The way Feely was kicking a fg at that point was no given.

First 3 paragraphs from this article...

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- The Seahawks received rare word from the NFL that referee Larry Nemmers erred Sunday on the New York Giants' two touchdowns in Seattle's 24-21 overtime victory.

"I had a conversation with the league, and there were mistakes that were made, which we felt at the time," said Seattle coach Mike Holmgren, one of eight men on the NFL competition committee that oversees rules and game operations.

The NFL said touchdown catches made by Jeremy Shockey and Amani Toomer shouldn't have been ruled completions.

...Just now on PTI, Wilbon said the NFL doesn't know what Homgren is talking about and that he may be fined for his comments.

I believe Holmgren is telling the truth.

The NFL, along with the MLB baseball commissioner, acts like they run the CIA.

That Toomer TD, that first foot was in but then it touched the white before the second foot landed, and yet they counted it. The fix was in!
