Gimmie a break. NFL paved the way for this golden boy. There only challenge this year was traveling to NE to play a depleted team. There schdule has been a joke. Chargers would have same record if they played it. On top of that the SB is in a dome.

Sep 11 @Baltimore 8:30pm They suck
Sep 18 Jacksonville 1:00pm Beat an above average team at home.
Sep 25 Cleveland 1:00pm They suck
Oct 2 @Tennessee 1:00pm They suck
Oct 9 @San Francisco 4:05pm They suck
Oct 17 St. Louis 9:00pm They suck
Oct 23 @Houston 1:00pm They suck
Nov 7 @New England 9:00pm Not the same team.
Nov 13 Houston 1:00pm They suck
Nov 20 @Cincinnati 1:00pm First Challenge all season.
Nov 28 Pittsburgh 9:00pm Beat a very good team but at home.
Dec 4 Tennessee 1:00pm They suck
Dec 11 @Jacksonville 1:00pm No Leftwhich
Dec 18 San Diego 1:00pm Tough game but get its at home.
Dec 24 @Seattle 4:15pm Third Challenge. First hard game on the road.
Jan 1 Arizona 1:00pm They suck

Has Manning won 1 meaningful game in his career? He looked like shit the last 2 times he was eliminted in the playoffs. I am not saying they are not the best team in the nfl now by far.

But, I am just saying they really have gotten hooked up this season. I think the NFL hooked em. Its a conspiracy. j/k

Well New England had a similar easy path last year...their division was a joke, and any team that ends up with home field advantage, especially in places like New England has an extra advantage IMO.

And to say all these teams suck, themajority of the NFL sucks these days, not many great teams at all.

When you think back 5-10 years, we had Dallas, SF, GB, Den, Buf, these were all very good teams, I don't think we've seen any teams like them the past 3-4 years...It seems like with each year passoing the teams and talent are becoming more watered down.

There is no comparison in schedule. NE played a playoff team (Jets Twice.A team that was 1 game and FG away from the AFC championship game.), a 9-7 Team (Bills twice. 1 game out of wildcard) in there conference. They also had to play Indi twice and @ pitt twice.

Well when you look around the NFL, where are the great teams this year?

When Dallas is mentioned on ESPN by two analysts ,as the 4th best team two weeks ago, this is a weak season for great teams...

Come on, Denver is considered the 2nd best team, this season is a joke.
It's not the Colts fault the league is weak.

They had two difficult games, the Steelers games.

The Jets had injury problems, and Buffalo was awful in the beginning of the year.

The reason Peyton Manning sucks is beacuse he spends too much time at the line of scrimage talking and shouting

I wouldnt want my worst enemy to play for the Tom Brady bride's maid.

Do you guys see him up at the line of scrimage yapping and yapping and never stfu until the clock makes him for a hand off to edge for a 3 yard gain?

That can be frustrating when you need points, Peyton likes to milk that play clock, sometimes I think he just enjoys that too much! He's a very astute player though, no question.

He reminds me a lot of Cal Ripken the way he 'thinks' the game.

Peyton would yell at the gatorade guy on each down if he had enough time. Cal was quiet and went about his business then he would tell the press he thanks god or whatever like all the other loser athletes becuase he got a HR.

Let's face it. Chics would pick cal over peyton. Cal is abusive and quiet and peyton just yells and talks too much.

Rob, there were seasons where Ripken called the pitches from his shortstop position, little known fact, not many position players call the pitches, can you imagine?

I can't say I ever heard Cal thank God to be honest.:drink:

Yes the league is weak but Colt schedule is extra extra weak. Come on Houston twice, Ravens twice, Cleveland, 49ners and Rams (w/o Bulger). That 7 gimmie wins.

Look at the Redskins or Chargers Schedule if you want to look for a challenge.

Here who I think are solid not in any order:
SD, Pitt, Seattle, Giants, Cowboys, Broncos, Bears, Panthers
Good:
Bengals, Buc's, Skins, Falcons, jags

Jets were injured? They were a play away from the AFC championship game. NE played them in end of decemeber 2 weeks b4 playoffs started.

Well. I gotta dip to grad school. Nice argueing with u JMan. I just wanted to kill my day at work.

I had to say what no one else would say. Indi has been giving the road to the SB this year. It a conspiracy by the man to give a Manning a SB ring. ahahahahah

they play Ravens once.

they're in the same division with Houston, they ca't help that.

they played the Jets twice last year as they do every year, the Jets didn't have a QB part of last season was my point.

the NFL hands out its schedule based on last yrs record, they play a certain division in the opposite conference (this year it's the NFC West for them), again, its not their fault.

they played @ Balto, at the time that was a tough game
they played @ New England
they played Pitt , Ben has lost one game in his NFL life, before that game
they play @ Seattle still (right now the NFC's best)
they still have SD and JAX , its not Indy's fault some teams have injury problems.

And that is the observation I made this year! The league is very weak this year and what better time than now for Indy to claim the title. They are above average in an average NFL this year.

League must have been a powerhouse in 1972 -

The 1972 Miami Dolphins (14-0 in the regular season and 17-0 overall) are rooting for the 10-0 Indianapolis Colts to lose. Critics point out that the Colts haven't played a difficult schedule thus far this season, but the 1972 Dolphins didn't beat a bunch of powerhouse opponents themselves. The combined record of Miami's 1972 regular-season opponents was 70-122-4 (.367 winning percentage).

Remember the Minnesota game being the game they almost blew, and had to come back late in the game....I believe that was the game Griese went down in.

Also Miami trailed Pitt going into the 4th qtr in the AFC Champ game...Steelers could have easily won 3 more Super Bowls.

I was born that year. I don't rememeber. Colts will go undeafeated and will play all there playoff games and SB in a dome. They will be heavily favored. If they do not win this year. They never will.
