Nope, he didn't do his famous "wooooo" and then give the guy a low blow
:sad3:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Pro wrestler Ric Flair faces assault charges after a road rage incident on Interstate 485 in Charlotte. Another driver said Flair attacked him and his car.

The driver said he was on I-485 on Wednesday, trying to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and traffic was slow.

The driver said he noticed someone behind him flashing their headlights, so he hit his brakes.

The driver said the car then pulled along side him, police said. The victim said he immediately recognized the driver as Ric Flair.

The driver told police that Flair got out of his car, walked over to the vehicle, grabbed him by the neck and damaged his car.

Police said there are two warrants out for Flair -- simple assault and damage to personal property.

Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, said Flair is unaware of the warrants. He said Flair is in Michigan this week for a pay-per-view wrestling event.

Finnell said Flair would be back in Charlotte on Tuesday.

I saw Flair a few weeks ago for the first time in a couple years, and he actually looks back in decent shape...I never thought he'd be back as a champion, these wrestlers either die or never retire, no in between.

Damn professional wrestlers!

Hawkeye171 and myself where once chased down the street by the Iron Sheik with a 2x4 ......and he was also accompanied by a couple other of his sidekick villians.

We were lucky to escape alive.

Think Ric Flair is generally a nice guy, so guessing the driver filing the complaint is some sort of jagoff in all liklihood.

Do not remember who the other jerks were..........this was 25 years ago, so memory is foggy at best.

Do remember drilling one of them with a BB during the match........which had to sting a tad.

Speaking of Roids, where is Scott Steiner? I remember him hating Flair.

Ego, any idea where Steiner is?

Steiner never regained his WCW-level of success in the WWE, partly due to the WWE not being sure how to use him, and partly due to the faster and more athletic wrestling style of the WWE that he wasn't able to keep up with (his muscle bulk and leg injuries had significantly slowed him down). Scott Steiner was released by WWE on August 17, 2004.
On August 28, 2005 Scott made his in ring return at an UCW show after recovering from foot surgery. That night he and his brother Rick defeated Jeff Lewis and Disco Inferno

J Man,

According to his website, he's wrestled some independent shows in North Carolina, and is hawking merchandise on his site

Not just Flair, but I think Scotty had heat with quite a few wrestlers, which might explain why he is not in WWE or NWA-TNA right now.

-September 2005 - Scott defeated Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell to become the new MACW Heavyweight Champion in Concord, NC!

Check out Scott's Calendar!!! It is updated with the latest appearances where Scott will be featured at!

-August 2005 - Scott teamed up with his brother Rick at the UCW show in Asheville, NC against Disco Inferno and Jeff Lewis. Scott and Rick won with Scott finishing off Jeff Lewis with the 'Steiner Recliner'!

Thanks for the update...its funny how wrestlers can just disappear, just like Bagwell, and so many others, you can forget them or lose track.

I agree, he was never showcased properly in the WWE, and oddly enough Wrestling lost so much when Vince took over the WCW, it was never the same.

When he was with the NWO, that was Steiner's at his peak! Ironically, he never fit in, and seemed to be marching to his own drummer in the WWE.

One other thing about Steiner, he was not just some steroided up musclehead (ala the Ultimate Warrior), this guy could flat out wrestle with the best of them.
