Any MUST KNOWS about matchbook

I have never played there before and I realize it is a much different type of sportsbook. Is there anything I MUST know before placing bets with them.

Look for games with ALTERNATE lines. The primary lines may fall on dead numbers and the alternate lines could have more value. Like 5 or 5 1/2 on a football game, dead or deader?

I was looking to make a few scalps using matchbook, however from what you say the 2% would basically eat up your winnings on the scalp unless the other side was the winning wager correct?

Well that depends...

You certainly have to factor the 2% into the Matchbook side but if that eats up your scalp then you don't have much to begin with.

Here is just 2 examples that my software is giving me right now;

Louisville -610 at Matchbook
UCONN +650 at BET356

Minn -3 +118 Matchbook
Detroit +3 -115 sportsinteraction

The first would be a 0.5% scalp after comission, the second 0.1%..

I am not looking to get rich fast off of any of these scalps. Just a consistent daily income. .5% isn't worth the effort though. Thanks

With Matchbook, it is money in the pocket everyday with minimum effort actually.

Yes, but if your side away from Matchbook hits you've got to re-up at Matchbook for 2.9%. Even though you get that amount in commission credit you're better off using 2.9% in your breakeven equation in my opinion.

SIA Under 5.5 -110.

Small money because of limits (I worked off my commission credits some time ago) but its like picking up $bills off the floor.

You are wasting SIA by taking small scalps with them. SIA will kick you out when you have won 15k. Take the cream of the crop at SIA if you want to make the best use of them.

From what I have heard through the grapevine, now 30k is the magic number.

By the way, completely understand what you are saying and took the preventive measures as you mentioned quite some time ago.
