Man Gets Hearing For Dumping Ashes At Game
(Philadelphia, PA) -- A onetime Bucks County resident who raced across the field at Sunday's Eagles-Packers game with an urn of his mother's ashes will face a hearing late next month. Christopher Noteboom, now a resident of Tempe, Arizona, will face a hearing on defiant trespass charges on December 27th. Noteboom ran across Lincoln Financial Field dumping his mother's ashes onto the playing surface saying he was honoring his mother's last wishes. The 33-year-old man was taken into custody and was held for 19 hours before he was released. The man admitted that he did trespass on the field but added that he did nothing wrong in honoring his mother's last wishes. Noteboom says his mother, an avid Eagles fan, spent her remaining years living with him in Arizona. The devoted son said he did not ask the Eagles if he could spread his mother's ashes on the field because he knew the team would deny the request.
