Green Bay +4.5 would have pushed this week if you were with SKYBOOK.

I agree with you Dante, for us small bettors it's great. Saves me several times a year from taking a loss or giving me a win that would be a push. Can you imagine being the man in charge of dealing these lines though? Sure he has help on 3 and 7 but lot of other key #'s around on sides and totals. Hang 37 and then watch the game land as everyone has O36- and U37-? I know it's limited what can be bet on the promotion but it still has got to hurt when certain #'s hit.

Every now and again you get middled in this business without giving away a 1/2 point, got to be doubly tough to be the man on stage at this place.

Speaking of them, how much time does it usually take for a withdrawal to be processed by those guys?

Not exact on this, but something like if you request before 9am EDT it is completed by 2pm and if after that, by 5pm EDT.

A representitive from Skybook will answer this question shortly in EXACT terms.

Withdrawal requests are processed twice a day, seven days a week. Requests are subject to a daily cut-off and release schedule. Submit your request before the cut-off times in order to have it processed the same day.

All withdrawal requests less than or equal to $1,000 received between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. PST will be released within two hours of the request. Any requests received before 11 a.m. will be released at 1 p.m. Withdrawal requests and sportsbook-to-sportsbook transfers greater than $1,000 will be accepted until 2 p.m. PST and released by 4:30 p.m.

It is a good deal but they have lowered hoops to $300. It still a good deal but leaves many of us with a basically worthless deal.

Even if one is wagering 2 dimes a game, getting 300 of the wager at a half point better than can be found anywhere is worth it imo.

i hear a lot of guys complaining about the low limits on the 1/2 point deal ($500 for football, $300 for basketball)...

and it really surprises me. i can't speak for anyone but myself, but even for us mid-range bettors (say, $500 or $1,000 game), i think it still offers excellent value.

when i do my line shopping, i ALWAYS check skybook to see if what value i can find.

even if i can only get down $300 on a, say, -3 in the NBA...i'll just get down the other $700 on a -3.5 somewhere else. it only takes 2 seconds to make the additional wager...

and at the end of the day, it may end up either getting me a win or a push! i'd rather push for a couple hundred bucks on a -3 and only lose $700 on a -3.5, than lose the whole damn $1,000 on a -3.5!!!

i think anyone who is betting less than $1,500 a game, should keep skybook as a "top ten" out....

it's worth the extra 60 seconds it takes to log-in and check out the lines...

just my opinion.

Any idea when that +5 with the free half was last available on that game? I think most places were 4 on Saturday and Sunday, just curious, also if it was -115 to get to the 5.

Love the free half, thanks Skybook.

Skybook used to be way, way better. I used to pay $300 a year for the free half, now I dont even bother for free. They delay you on every play and change the line a good portion of the time and they lowered their limit from 500 to 300. There are many better books out there.

It is still a good value - but the limits kill it for alot of people - more importantly, the hoop lines go up so late that you will beat the half point simply by playing the game in the morning when their lines are down - football numbers just don't hit like hoops - it is a good deal but I'd rather just look for -105 than chop up a dime bet into 300 and 700 - it was nice when you could play a nickel at skybook and a nickel at Rio but they caught on.

I like skybook however I wish they had overnight's on NBA games where that half point can help even more.
