Hello all, Long time lurker; don't post frequently, but have learned a lot from the people on this site and I really love it here.

Before I begin I want to say that all of my dealings with Olympic have been smooth. Fast payouts, easy deposits and prompt response to my emails. I haven't actually had to speak with too many people there until today.

My problem started on Tuesday evening around 6:30 when I tried to place some wagers online. I logged in and it said that my account was suspended. I called customer service and the lady said that my account was suspended because of an e-check deposit of $1000 that was returned on the 20th of November. The person who could help me was not in and they told me to call back tommorrow.

This issue is kind of complicated so please bear with me. I called this morning and spoke to someone in the risk managment department and they told me that since the e-check deposit was returned my account was suspended and all wagers made after I made this deposit would be null and void. Keep in mind, that I had already made a weeks worth of wagers before I found out that my account was suspended. Okay not a big deal yet. However, they told me that my balance in my account at the time of my deposit was $692 and I initially thought this strange since I made a deposit on the 9th through Firepay which was cleared and deposited into my account promptly. I didn't have my records in front of me so I said okay, hung up and was determined to retrace my wagers for that day. The following is a chronological account of my wagers on the 20th of NOvember and the change in my balance throughout the day.

My balance entering the day that I had in my records was $4,543.63. Olympic agrees that this is my balance going into the 20th at the start of the day.

12:58 Over New Orleans Saints -165.00 4,378.63 Loser
1:01 Over Cards -165.00 4213.63 Winner
1:07 3 Team Teaser -195.00 4018.63 Push
1:10 Toledo CBB -110.00 3908.63 Loser
2:18 Dolphins 2nd H -360.00 3548.63 Loser
2:38 Under Eagles 2nd H -252.00 3296.63 Loser
2:39 St. Louis 2nd H -420.00 2876.63 Loser
2:46 Over 19 Jax 2nd H -264.00 2612.63 Winner
2:50 Over Lions 2nd H -550.00 2062.63 Loser
3:26 Teaser: Clips/Pacers 7:00 start -195.00 1867.63 Winner
3:28 Under GS/LA Clips -220.00 1647.63 Loser
4:11 Denver -14 -525.00 1122.63 Winner
4:11 Over Denver -1100.00 22.63 Loser
Graded Wager:Over Cards +315.00 337.63
Graded Wager: Jax O 2nd H +504.00 841.63
4:48 Over GS (2nd H) vs. Clips -550.00 291.63 Winner
6:00 Furman +15 -220.00 71.63 Loser
Graded Wager: FB Teaser Push +195.00 266.63
Graded Wager: Denver -14 +1025.00 1291.63
Graded Wager: Over GS (2ndH) +1050.00 2341.63
I really start chasing at this point
8:08 Over Chiefs/Texans -1100.00 1241.63
8:09 Under 2nd H Rockets/Pacers -550.00 691.63
8:18 e-check deposit of 1,000.00 1691.63
Made deposit to get down on Chiefs 1st Half and Chiefs full game.
8:20 Deposit returned -1000.00 691.63
I agree that this was my balance at the time of my deposit on 8:18. At this point my account was not officially suspended. I found out it was suspended on the 29th of November. To reinstate the account Olympic just used my balance at the time of my returned e-check deposit. and rounded the figure up to 692.00.

Here is the problem. Using funds that were in my account before the 1000 deposit I still had pending wagers whose results were not final until after they suspended my account. These included:

2 Team Teaser: Clippers/Pacers
Under 88 (2nd H) Rockets/Pacers
Over 44 Chiefs/Texans

Incidentally, all of these wagers were winners. I feel that these 3 wagers should be counted as winners as I made the wagers before I made the ill-fated returned deposit. However, even if they don't count those as winners shouldn't they at least return my stake in these wagers of 195, 550, and 1100 respectively.

I have called 4 times today trying to resolve this and they really don't want to hear it. In the end Olympic has passed the buck and told me talk to the risk management manager, who of course won't be in until tomorrow. This issue is still in its infancy, but it is really bothering me and I am anxious to get a resolution.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the length of my post, but I thought it necessary to adequately explain my situation.

Thank you again.

If I was resolving the dispute, ANY WAGER MADE WITH MONEY FROM THAT ECHECK would be voided and since that is not the case here, I think you'll be fine.

The REAL problem I have with you is:

WHY THE HELL DID YOU EVEN POST THIS IN A PUBLIC FORUM?????? WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW - GEEZ.

(If I were you, I would ask the mods to delete this thread)

It most likely is a premature jumping of the gun that will be resolved first thing in the morning.

Yeah guys I know that I am probably jumping the gun. My echeck did not bounce, they said it didn't go through because I entered my account number wrong. But if that's the case, how did the funds get credited to my account in the first place?

Maybe I am naive, but is there really a harm in posting about my situation?

Thanks again guys.

The book "loans" you the money until it actually clears-they're basically extending credit to you once the transaction has been approved by the initial verification process.

I know your frustrated, and I missed the part about what you've gone through so far. Email me your acc #.....I'll call them first thing in the morning for you.

Don't lose any sleep over this :toast:

No harm. You're not being fair to the sportsbook - and it has nothing to do with being naive. You know what you're doing.

Just got off the phone with Wally from Olympic. What a great standup guy. He took care of me completely to my satisfaction. He graded my wagers that were in play at the time my account was suspended and credited them to my account.

Olympic is truly an outstanding book and an out that everyone should have. Thanks again to Wally and to TTinCO for acting as a middleman for me. Thanks to all who responded to my thread as well.

Best of luck to all!!

This is the advantage of dealing with ONLY quality books. When an issue arrises, you don't have to worry about the right thing being done.

Congratulations on getting the issue resolved.

Ditto.

I was wondering what would have happened if he had done this at Royal. His best case scenario would have been an "investigation" which would take 4 months and then gotten his money in his account and another 2 months to withdraw it - and that is the BEST case scenario.
