BYU versus Nevada would be a bonanza here for ticket sales, might be one of the few bowls before Jan 2 that sells out. BYU is an ass team to watch, but all the mormons around here guarantee its a good sale. I heard the LV Bowl had to take BYU this year just to make sure they continue to be certified. I am sure the convention authority wouldn't be too happy about that matchup though, most of the fans would be locals and we all have a saying about the BYU fan who shows up with only a $20 bill in his pocket here and how he leaves town with it.

I MIGHT pay to see UTEP vs. Nevada, but LTech? No frigging way. They have no business being in a bowl. They had every chance to show their stuff last week and fell flat on their faces vs Boise (costing me a ton of dough in the process). If thats the case, let the fluff bowls DIE.

every year a very marginal hawaii team wins the bowl and we have to mhear the media and fans going on like they are one of the better teams in the country.

They have dropped the price for seats to the Hawaii bowl to $8. Why not just give away the tickets for free? The bowl needs to show 20,000 in attendance, or else they risk decertification. No who is going to pass on Christmas eve with their family to see Nevada vs. CFla and PAY for it?
