Clip,

He is having an amazing year, one of the reasons that the Clips are off to such a hot start. Congrats on the start for your squad! Check your e-mail, I have sent you a couple that you have not responded to. :103631605

Clip,

Also have a question for you. I found the guy in the NBA with what I believe to be the funniest name in the league. He is on your team. Any guesses???

What an ass...

I do have to say though, I have been telling a lot of my buddies that it is way to early to judge this team. The early season schedule has been extremely beneficial as we haven't played any of the elite teams...especially on the road.

We are much improved, but I would be excited with a .500 season this year.

We played VERY WELL last night. That would have been a big win.

I am worried that we didn't get a chance to kick Sacramento while they have been down. They will be much better later in the season. Golden State is playing well and that was a big win over them. But we still have to play some playoff type teams this season...something we have rarely done so far this year.

The West is tough - first and foremost you have Bill Russell or Tim Duncan, Garnett and Stoudamire - all who are better than Brand - but he should make the all-star game this year - as long as TD is playing in the NBA he starts at PF - simple.

Brand will never be a starter as long as KG and Duncan are in the same conference...but for him to not even be on the team ever in his career is a joke. Positions don't matter too much after the starters are named.

I don't know of many players that could have this kind of career so far and NEVER make an All Star team:

No chance, Elton is a brand name NBA player now, and the Clippers are finally in style! He might even start!

If the voting was done simply off this season (as it should be), he deserves to be chosen over all of those players mentioned.

But we all know that isn't how the voting is done...KG, Duncan, and Dirk could be averaging 10 points a game and still make it ahead of Brand.

come on man duncan is averaging 21.7 and 11.7 with 2.5 blocks and 3 dimes per game and shooting 53% from the field

kg has 22.2 and 10.7 with 5 dimes and 1.5 blocks per game and shooting 56% as well

dirk has 25 and 9 with a block out there while shooting 45% from the field......

only argument u can make is that he is putting up better numbers then dirk and deserves it more then him but not the other 2.

What are you talking about?

Brand 23.7 pts, 10.7 rebs, 2.67 blocks, 2.3 asts, 56.0% FG
Duncan 21.3 pts, 11.7 rebs, 2.5 blocks, 3.2 asts, 52.9% FG
Garnett 22.2 pts, 10.7 rebs, 1.3 blocks, 5.2 asts, 56.0% FG

Brand has more points, blocks, and better FG %...Duncan has more rebounds and assists. Based on stats alone, Brand is having the better season. This is exactly what I mean by reputation weighing far too much. How can you say Duncan is having a better season?

The same with Garnett...look at the stats. Brand is doing more AND has a better record. Garnett has more assists but Brand is not looked upon to distribute the ball. The offense does not run through him like it does with Garnett. Brands points come from offensive rebounds and set plays in the post. Garnett touches the ball on almost every possession.

In the past I could understand because the Clippers had a bad team so putting up his numbers on a bad team don't mean as much...but the Clippers are 10-5 and he is putting up those numbers.

ok difference is 1.6 pts, and .17 blocks and 3.1% from the field in brands favor and...

1 rebound, .9 assists in duncan's favor

ur right....brand is having a much better season!!!

I'm not saying the others are having better season then him but its not like he is dominating them, in my book they are all having solid seasons and since the other guys have been putting up almost the same numbers no need to change who is starting.....if anything we should all be complaining that Yao is going to start the All Star game over Camby

I never said Brand was having a "much better season" than Duncan. All I said was if the voting was based on this season alone (as it should be), he should be the starter at this point in the season.

He is having the best season so far out of all the PFs in the West.
