Doing well in preseason spells doom for your team?

Look at the Colts this year.

They went 0-4 preseason yet are undefeated thus far.

Now take the Lakers

They went 5-2 in the preseason.

Their regular season record is 6-8

Pretty interesting.. Seems like teams that do well in the pre season do poorly in the regular season.

Thought the samething.

However, read an article a couple years ago that indicated MLB teams actally performed very close to their spring training records for the most part.

Very interesting.

I agree with you though, think it means very little.
