Uh-oh, here we go again....
Based upon the recent success of our Thanksgiving party, Wil decided to have an RX gift exchange, and Xmas party.......
Wil and I decided to go shopping early to pick up some gifts for some of the regulars, before we make the plans for the party.....however, to our dismay, several of our posters decided to go to the mall with us, to shop, which led to a very hectic day.......Just take a look at what we went through....
We had many posters wanting to go with us, so we ended up having to rent a minivan to get everyone to the mall, so it was quite time consuming..
When we finally got to the mall, and got everyone out and organized it was time to shop......so many people to buy for, and so little time.....once we got Tang strapped into the cart, and gave him his pacifier, we were ready to roll.........We stopped by the clothing dept first, as we were looking to get some shirts "tailor made" for us.....We needed some mediums with XXl sleeves, for Jman and Shack, to help cover their guns.....We werent quite sure what to get for Roxygurl, whether we should look for some lace lingerie, or a Ladanian Tomlinson authentic jersey, and cap , so we just decided to go with a gift certificate for Roxy.....we found some nice orange jerseys that we thought would be perfect for TheFawv (Tennessee fan), or GatorCoachLT, but then we realized they were TampaBay Bucs retro jerseys of that gay orange they used to have, so we just grabbed one for 5teamparlay.......
Tang started crying again, and no one knew what to do....he had his bottle, his rattle, and his pacifier, so what could be the problem? Then someone realized we had parked the cart too close to the rack with the Timmy Chang jerseys on it, so we just moved him away, and he was fine after that....actually hes a pretty good kid, just gets "diaper rash" every now and then, and acts up, but overall hes a good egg....
We decided to get Ace-Ace a big screen TV, since he has action on so many games, we figured he could use it....there wasnt room in the cart though, luckily shack had come along, and he just carried it the rest of the way........
As we kept shopping, we noticed a "swarthy" looking guy in a trenchcoat and dark glasses with a notepad kept following us around the store....at first we thought he was with store security, but we looked around and realized Patrick's nephew didnt come with us, so we should be ok.....but he kept following, and writing stuff down.....finally someone recognized him as Raiders72001, he was just writing down every thing we said and did, so he would have something to talk about....so we quit worrying about him, like we did long ago....
As we continued to pick up items that we needed for the party and the gift exchange, Wil noticed that Madcapper had run off with our c/c and all our money, again....damn him.....we sent Wannabewhale to look for him, we figured he had the most practice at doing it, and he finally caught him, and got the money back....He told him that he had spoken with the Guru, and the Professor, and gotten some hot tips on a game, and was trying to help us double our money.....but we didnt want to risk it, so we got the money back...Funny though, the money smelled like "Sage", whats that all about?....hmmmmmm
We needed to hurry up though, as it was getting late, and we still had alot to do....We kept gettting slowed down by those damn Sethi brothers....in the course of 2 hours, they had already hit on 6 sales girls, 2 door greeters, 3 cashiers, and one very confused young guy working the makeup counter....
Chuck Sims refused to let the guy at the electronics counter help us, cuz he had only been working there for under a year, and was too new to be any good........He called the kid a scumbag, a thief, dishonest, and not to be trusted....the kid left in tears......finally we just grabbed a few sports pagers and left the electronics dept. it was just too embarassing...
We stopped by the book store and picked up a copy of "100 ways to pass a lie detector test", the unabridged version.....Im sure someone can use a copy of it...
We asked Kodiak what he would like for xmas, but he said we had to give him 100.00 and an email address before he would send us his xmas list....so screw him, he gets coal this year.....
Kermit thinking he was funny, asked if he could just have some large boxes for xmas, cuz he needed a place to keep all the money he keeps winning....smart-ass
Wil has finally grown tired of dealing with all the mess, and the crowds, so we head to the cashier to get out of here.....Wil has spent quite a lot so far, so hopefully everyone will like their gifts......we actually got more than we planned to today, and now there isnt enough room in the van for all the gifts........Playersonly69, comes forward, and says he'll handle it...he is an experts at cramming a car full of "valuable" material things.....
Finally everything is loaded up and we start to head home, with a ton of gifts to wrap, and alot of planning for the party to do.....but wait, aw crap, we have to pull over, Tang has to go pee-pee again......
