O'Leary will find it more than very difficult to ever get back in the big time. He has done a Great job there. Saturday may be the day that the bubble gets busted though as Tulsa Hurricanes rolls into town.

O'Leary Named National Coach of the Year by Two Prominent Websites

CBSsportsline.com and SportsIllustrated.com named O'Leary as the nation's top coach.

CBSsportsline.com and SportsIllustrated.com have named UCF head coach George O'Leary college football's National Coach of the Year this week.

O'Leary has led UCF to one of college football's greatest turnarounds in NCAA history as the Golden Knights went from 0-11 a year ago to 8-3 and Conference USA Eastern Division champions in 2005.

O'Leary was named the Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year in 2000 while he was head coach at Georgia Tech. He is the first coach in UCF history to be named national coach of the year by any media outlet. O'Leary and the Golden Knights host the inaugural Conference USA Football Championship Game Saturday, December 3 at noon.

Local radio show reported that lower part of Citrus Bowl sold out. Thats over 50k for UCF game. Thats the most since Dante starred. Only noon kcic off i think.

Coaching is 80% recruiting players and assistants and 20% motivating the players and assistants. Pete Carroll has been the best at this for three years running now-end of story.

My vote goes to Sandiego's Jim Harbaugh who took Torreros to 11-1 season and beat Yale with walkons and half scholarship players and put a big scare into Princeton in Jersey, covered 10 of 12 games, best action point team in the country by 100 points.
