Yeah,
That's why I was posting. I think it's fairly rare to find credit card companies to allow charges with sportsbook vendors anymore (at least the reputable sportsbooks). And most sportsbooks I've dealt with put a holding period on deposits that aren't Western Union or Neteller. It's one of the reasons I seldom bet on-line anymore. I know it's not convenient to have to go to Vegas, Reno, or Tahoe (I'm on the West Coast). But at least when I do, there's no charge for transactions, and I can cash out immediately when I win. I can't stand this 2 week or 30 day period that some sports book impose. I'm a very infrequent gambler and pretty much am a hit and run player. I found out a long time ago that if I bet over a long haul, I seldom if ever win. Just don't have the money management skills that many of the players here have and I also think there's something to be said for being more selective (I may bet only 4 weeks out of the year on football). Oh well, not going to dramatically change my life one way or another.
