How come so many of these sites stink at Customer Service?

I signed up for an account a week ago, and used my buddy Sherman as a referal. He no longer bets so I was hoping I could take that $50 place a few bets and give him the money if I was able to get lucky and roll it up.

Anyway after at least EIGHT different Contacts with them (I had Sherm call twice too) on why they weren't putting the bonus money in his account, turns out I already had a Betwwts account and had used him as my referer.

Fine my Screw up (I really did mess up, I still don't remember ever using them) but Why did it allow me to sign up again? And secondly did I really need to waste about a total of 4 hours for myself and about an hour for Sherm before being told this?

Despite being 100% my error I will never use them again.

It seems awkward that they did not tell you that earlier.

I am definitely not siding with them at all, but to their defense (and all sportsbooks and poker rooms), I believe that they have to deal a LOT with people trying to pull every stunt in the book to get more bonuses. For this reason they have to be ultra careful. That still doesn't explain why they wouldn't tell you that in the 1st minute of the conversation.....but books and sites do seem to be becoming PARANOID of bonus whores. In this case, you honestly didn't know you were doing it....but many people do.

Just my insignificant 2-cents on the subject.
