Walt Jocketty has offered a 4 yr 40 million contract with a 5th year option based on innings pitched by AJ during first 4 years. I have heard different deadlines but one thing is clear if Burnett has not signed by end of day tomorrow, Cards likely to drop out of the AJ Stakes and move on to Plan B. Rumor has it that Burnett and his agent are in STL as this is where he wants to play and officially Toronto has never put sure offer on the table waiting on the results of Cards negotiations.
