I think it all stems from that Fla-FSU game two years ago, where the refs gave FSU 28 points and it still took a hail mary to win, while I had bet on Fla. Other than that, it also might have something to do with Chris Rix, the biggest joke to ever put on a college uniform, and the way he choked against Miami last year when I had FSU. I'm sure the chanting song their fans do further irritates me. Nothing against their fans, because I enjoy the posts of a few FSU fans on this board. Anyone else just irrationally hate a team for one reason or another?

They also completed a 4th and like 17 right before the Rix bomb into the endzone...

I feel your pain. I had a decent play on Fla, but nothing too big. But I've never been so pissed about a loss. The refs got 5 fumble/no fumble play wrong, they were all in the red zone, and all 5 calls went to FSU. And it still took two small miracles, with the 4th down conversion, and the hail mary. That game was the ulitimate injustice where the team that won had no business even being in the game. Pisses me off to this day, and trust me, I've lost a lot more on one game than I did that night.Journeyman said:

Those games are horrible memories truly. The Gator nation made a who paid the refs tshirt after that Florida game. That was the worse of the worst. Though the year after we rebounded and beat them with our lame duck coach in Zook 20-13 the night the field was named Bobby Bowden Field. Gotta love that and the blow out this year, but yup they didn't deserve to win that game. It was such crap. The Zook defenses weren't that strong or tough.
