It's a crock that Penn St. will be playing a crap Fl. St. team when they were 1 second away from possibly being in the title game. BCS blows. I still believe someday we will have a playoff.

Florida States offense is so bad they will not score on Penn St. 21-0.

Lol. Penn State has played 1 defense the caliber of FSU (Ohio State). They played them at HOME. You won 17-10.

In that game, you had ONE drive. The other TD scores by Penn State, was on a drive starting at Ohio States 2 yard line after an interception.

<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR class=bg2 vAlign=center align=right height=17><TD class=bg3 align=left>3-14-OHST14</TD><TD class=bg3 align=left>(9:31) Troy Smith was intercepted. Calvin Lowry returned the interception for 35 yards. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

But wait. Ohio State had scoring drives of 44, and 81 yards.

But the Orange bowl isnt in beaver stadium. FSU has more talent than PSU, I don't think that is even in question. The question is will the offensive line get back healthy, and who will come with the better game plan.

Florida States defense is not even close to the same class as OSU. And I am not a Penn State fan BTW. We shall see. If anything you are making me actually look forward to this game so thank you.

Iowa vs whoever will be a rout; Hawkeyes playing great football after HC Ferentz read OC O'Keefe the riot act for the horrible play calling in the losses to Michigan and Northwestern.

Oklahoma vs Iowa would only be a better game because of the Hayden Fry connection--it would give the announcers someone to call on the phone late in the 4th quarter of the 38-3 blowout.......:lolBIG:

The FSU/Penn State game will be a fraud, too. Blow out for Penn State--who should be playing either one of the two lame-assed teams playing for the "national championship".........:money:

does that ISU refer to that joke of a program over in Ames? Could you clowns PLEASE win a game that matters after September one of these years? I wouldn't have any problems at all rooting for ISU if they would just win something important.... other than the Iowa/Iowa State game, of course....:toast:

ISU = Illinois State University. I live two blocks from the campus. The pants part is a long story. I am an Illini fan. Got no problems with you being an Iowa fan. I was just saying we have a TON of Iowa fans here:103631605

Who really is the cornhuskers Nebraska or Iowa?

Did you Know?

Six states within the USA (Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana and Ohio) account for 82% of corn production. Iowa leads the group with 22% (which is 8.5% of total world production, approximately the total production of Mexico, France and Argentina put together).

Penn State isn't blowing out anybody with that offense. They might win, and they will be favored, but that offense doesn't blow people out.

damn, I was hoping you were a Cy-Clown so I could try and hassle you a bit more...:lolBIG:

How is the hoops team this year? Missouri Valley is always a tough conference in college baskets, and one( along with the Big-10 and Horizon leagues) that I try and follow--and try and limit my wagering to only those conferences--with limited success, unfortunately....:sad3:

Many many years ago, Univ of Iowa was not nicknamed the Hawkeyes, they were the Cornhuskers. Iowa's AD, who named Iowa the Cornhuskers, then left the school for the AD job at Nebraska. At the time Nebraska was nicknamed the Bugeaters. The new AD decided to take his name with him, thus Nebraska became the Cornhuskers while the new AD at Iowa named them the Hawkeyes.

Iahawk -- ISU is gonna suck this year. I follow the MVC very closely and always do very well betting. Love the MVC and looking forward to the conference season. I get to see a lot of games.

thanks, Korn, for the heads-up. Will be looking for your MVC plays--together we should be able to kick the Man right where it hurts....:toast:

Cubsmac--

I wasn't aware of that fact. How many years ago are we talking about? I have seen pictures of the early Iowa teams playing football--dating from before 1900, and I thought they were called the Hawkeyes then?
