Hi there ... this is my first post and I've got a cheeky request.

I've managed to get hold of all NFL results for the past few seasons into a spreadsheet, so I can now tell that 1 in 11 matches results in a 3-point difference between the two teams. However what would really be useful would be to know if the difference was in favour of the favourite.

Does anyone have such statistics or be able to point me in the direction of where I might be able to get them ?

Ideally the figures would also include where the "line" stood immediately prior to the matches ... although I accept that I might be pushing my luck with this request!

you can figure out yourself by pulling up old line data from any of the following:

goldsheet.com
donbest.com
covers.com
wagerline.com

Stanford wong's book "sharp sports betting" also has what you are looking for but it is a bit dated
