So many ex-QB's doing well in the booth or in the studio...and if you notice they all seem to be near the top of the broadcast teams.

Who is your favorite?

Bradshaw
Young
Simms
Aikman
Esiason
Marino
Theismann
Griese

quite the list when you think about it. :103631605

other noteables...Dawson (HBO) Moon (sideline analyst) Stabler (somewhere) Randall Cunningham (studio)

Simms is excellent, still a great team with Jim Nance.

Amazing how quickly Aikman and Simms went right to the top, as the network's top teams.

Close call for me, but I like Aikman's color analysis. Find it has more depth then most others.

I'm pretty sure it was Al Michaels who couldn't stand Boomer Esiason, in his short stint with MNF. Boomer would be my least favorite, he comes off as a jerk , and I think deep down he resents Marino...

I'm not sure him and Dan really like each other off camera....didn't they go at it last year?

Agree Gannon is awful...he was a late bloomer as an NFL QB so give him time.

young says more things that make sense.. i think he is by far the most intelligent..

aikman has to be careful with the number of times he says a guys name.

while describing a play by donovan mcnabb one time , he must said " donovan mcnabb " 8 times ..

I, for one, can't stand Simms. (Am I the only one)

What about Ware and Tomczak in college. Oh yeah, you meant real NFL QB's.

Simms. Makes good commentary without shooting his load.

He used to annoy me, but then I learned to appreciate qualitys like I mentioned.

I think Simms is best. Fouts is great as well. It's too bad he got screwed when ABC hired Madden for MNF--he was great on Monday nights with Al Michaels.
