I am amused by the shock and bewilderment expressed on this forum about the "favs and squares" conversation regarding the NFL.

Nothing square about buying to 13.5 and riding the "Horse" at home and then taking advantage of a -6.5 2nd half line against a seriously inferior opponent.

Then look at New England at home against Brooks Bolinger. Brady vs Bolinger LOL. Again -6.5 2nd half gift. Were the Jets ever a serious threat at all?

Just 2 games, but an example of the new NFL. Parity...Any Given Sunday...ha,ha,ha. Back door not only shut but locked tight. RLOL.

I do have the luxury of watching every game at home without distraction in my living room, but you can watch them all on the computer anyway. That's not it at all..

What it is is that if there is anything "sharp" about taking a pounding every week while the "squares" take home the bacon, then these labels have been seriously juxtaposed at least for this season.

If I learned anything at all in my sports playing and coaching careers, it's that sometimes you have to change your gameplan at half time.
