OUTBACK BOWL Already a SELLOUT!!!!

The 20th Anniversary Outback Bowl featuring the 16th ranked University of Florida and the No. 25 Iowa Hawkeyes is officially a sell-out. Outback Bowl officials say no more tickets are available for the New Year’s Day bowl game outside of the ticket allotments requested by and sent to each school. It is the fifth sellout in the past six years for the bowl.

"The response by the Iowa and Gator fans has been outstanding, as expected," notes Outback Bowl President / CEO Jim McVay. "This is the hottest ticket we have ever had which is going to make our 20th anniversary even more special."

The schools are still distributing their allotment of tickets to their season ticket holders, alumni, boosters and students, but have indicated they will use all the tickets they have. The Bowl expects about 40,000 out-of-area visitors to the region.

The Outback Bowl will be televised internationally on ESPN TV in HD. For information on the Outback Bowl, events, attractions and hotels in the Tampa Bay area go to the bowl’s web site at www.outbackbowl.com.

WWO--it is just a fact, IOWA is one of the top three travel teams in the country.......if not #1.

No biggie, just a fact.

As stated earlier, they sent 55,000 to the Orange Bowl three years ago..........prompting the Orange Bowl officials to state they had never seen anything so amazing.

By the way, when Iowa loses a game, they party just as much as if they won..........and with a high degree of class on a whole(obviously you always have your share of a-holes).

as a gator hater , i hope your boys blow them off the field..

i will say this though , you guys should go back to not playing us . cause we got an owners manual on your club on that difficult home field of yours...

i think we've beaten you 5 of the last 6 if memory serves...

like I said Mich's 9 straight was broken this year. Lets see if Iowa can make 31 straight bowl games now. They have put together a great program in recent years but I wouldn't say cream of the crop yet. When was the last time they were the bowl selection commitee's 1st team to come out of the big 10?

Good luck You guys need to whip those gators so the big 10 is reconized as the best conferance once again.
