Downtown Las Vegas was once a magnet for pointspread shoppers. Runners with well-worn sneakers pounded the pavement, dashing from place to place in search of elusive numbers. Their ranks have thinned, but their worksite has rebounded into a more vibrant shopping mall. The downtown sports book managers seem to be more welcoming than their mid-Strip counterparts.
