O.J. has to top the list. I'm watching the 1979 Rose Bowl on ESPN Classic and O.J. is a color analyst. For being such a great player, you always think of the murders when you think of O.J.

Good choice JMAN

I still recall the first time Len Bias showed his incredible potential, I was at the game at Cole Field House...I used to go to all the Maryland games.

Maryland crushed Michael Jordan and Carolina, Bias was just a sophomore and this game was his coming out party, by the end of that season he had grown by leaps and bounds as a player, and led the Terps to the ACC crown over Duke.

The following two seasons he carried the Terps on his back, he was truly unstoppable, Maryland didn't have much else around him, he was a can't miss phenom, with incredible leaping ability, combined with strength , he had the perfect basketball body, a combination Jordan didn't even have in college....

He was well on his way and fortunate to being going to Boston, who was loaded with Bird, Parrish and Mchale.

I can't think of a more perfect situation for a top pick , they usually end up having to go thru the growing pains of playing for the worst teams, not Bias, he had the best of everything , as incredible as his story was , his death was just as incredible.

20 years later, he would be in the rafters, next to all he greats of the Garden .

Ironically it was Art who threw the INT in the Woody Hayes 'slugged the Clemson player' game.
