So they have Kent, Furcal, Izturis, Choi. Rumor has it they are very close to a trade for Soriano. They are expected to sign Bill Mueller after todays arbitration deadline passes. They are discussing a trade with the Phillies for Abreu and David Bell. And they are discussing a trade with the Cubs that would give them Todd Walker (or Patterson) in exchange for Milton Bradley. They are rumored to be interested in Nomar.

I dont get it.

The Dodgers won 93 last year and just 71 this. I guess there's just a major housecleaning going on. I'm sure some of the current regulars, like Choi, Izturis and Kent, may be going elsewhere. Grady Little should have some say in what's being done. But you don't sign a high priced free agent like Fucal, unless you're going to keep him.

Izturis is out till July and probably won't be himself till next season. Kent will probably move to 1st if they pick up a 2nd baseman. Choi will probably be the oddman out since his biggest supporter (Paul Depo) is gone.

In theory, I think the infield is looking like:
1st- Kent
2nd- Soriano
3rd- Mueller
SS - Furcal
Catcher - Navarro
