That's a great video, but there is a bit of video magic occurring....you can tell by watching the grass in front of the camera that the video is made using stop-motion animation like the "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" show we all grew up loving..... He took several different pictures of different light configurations at his house and then was able to set and order the pictures to music on his computer.

Still, the video is ingenious.... tulsa

i am not so sure tulsa, iwas told the lights are somehow connected to the beat and tempo of the music, there are other videos of the same house to different types of music...perhaps i am wrong, either way, very innovative!!

So is this a real display at his house, to the music?

He has this music playing outside his house?

I keep forgetting my camera but I will post a pic of the guy's house down the road (GRIZWALDs) from mine...truly ridiculous. Puts up a fence to keep people out and has to have high voltage signs up in his yard. I just drove by and the roof is covered in snow so some of the lights are not visible...think I'm going tooling around tonight so will try to remember my camera and take a picture.

Yes, it is on his house, and you tune it in on the radio, and it is in sequence, like the bellagio fountains!

He's not far from my place, here in Cincinnati. He has stopped it though, due to the amount of traffic, and there was an accident the other day to. It was minor, but he agreed he would pull the plug if it got to bad.

There is a computer guy, and maybe a radio guy also in my town, Knoxville, doing the same thing. only 4-5 miles from me there was an article in the paper, tune to FM 93.7 and go by his house and watch the show.

just as i read this post, i tuned into the Flyers pregame show and that exact tune was playing for the warmup skate....lol. No idea where its from.

Well, heck...sounds like I got this one wrong....I was sure it was a series of pictures strung together to music using a video editor..... Oh well....at least it wasn't a wager loss.

I'm still not convinced....but OK.... Sounds like some of you are familiar with people doing exactly this without camera tricks....

okay...took my camera out last night and photographed the neighbor down the street...ridiculous house...disappointed you cannot see that his entire roof has lights on it as well...it is covered in snow so those lights aren't showing up.

Yea, the song is by Tran Siberian Orchestra. Two members of the infamous metal band Savatage from the 80's are in Tran Siberian Orchestra.
