Stop worrying. Last year in Reno was an anomaly. Before that it had maybe 25 snowy days in the previous 10 years. Bottom line is in Reno you have little chance of seeing snow.
Hell, Tang's Canadian. Go there, it's legal all over the place. Go to Niagara Falls for your honeymoon. They got a shitty casino there, my money paid for the fountain out front.
The plane slid through it's landing zone-which is short there. Lot of snow on the runway, and it blew out it's landing gear before ending up in the street. Most likely skiiding badly-brakes don't appear to have done much.
