What happened to all the critics? Without him the Sharks lose 10 in a row, then get him and win 4 in a row. Yep, seems like an overrated player to me :lolBIG:

Ask where he is during the playoffs, my friend. -13 over the last two playoff years. Regular season might as well = pre season in the NHL

Thornton in Boston was like a bad marriage at the end each needed to get away from each other. Thornton will thrive in San Jose since there isn't that intense pressure on him game in and game out so he can go out there and just play. Besides he was never going to win over the Boston faithful since Boston management compared him to former Boston greats from the get go when he was drafted which didn't do the kid any favours at the time.

A player who gets 20% of the team's cap better be good.

If you want to talk about WINS, and you're going to use 4 games, let me take it a step further and use 1 game:

THE DAY AFTER THE TRADE, THE BRUINS SHUT OUT THE SENATORS.

to be fair, he was injured during those playoffs....

perhaps you are right, perhaps he would never have won in Boston, still, Boston managment should have "SHOWCASED" him, they could have gotten alot more for him....
