Very tough to compare eras...team speed at the skill positions would be a major mismatch. Big plays would favor the Colts.

Edgarin James certainly a great running back, but the Dolphins had the three headed monster of Czonka, Kick and Morris.

Good lord, hate the Colts, but I'm rooting for them big time to end the most overrated record in sports!!!!The 72 dolphins!!!! Played the second easiest schedule in nfl history!!!!!! Two teams with 8 wins and that's it!!!!!!!!!All losing teams on their schedule!!!! Way overrated!!!! If 85 Bears played such a simple schedule they would have shut out half of their oppenents!!!!!!!

'85 Bears would have roughed up that Dolphins team...no doubt about that.

Dick Anderson at FS Harrison would zoom easily by him Anderson would have to start every play 40 yards off the line of scrimmage.

Agree 85 Bears best team in NFL history

Yes, '72 Dolphins beat 2 winning teams during the regular season...2...

I agree, '85 Bears would shut that team out and the 49ers team that lost one game would've put up at least 45 against that "great" no-name defense...

It's a shame the Colts won't finish undefeated, because it would shut those '72 Dolphins players the hell up...

So apparently the '85 Dolphins were better than the '72 team? Remember, the only team to be the Bears, happened to be from South Florida.

That Bears defense was just incredible but so was Baltimore's ...not sure which was more incredible, they were both fun to watch.

I think there are several teams that could have beaten that undefeated Dolphin's team. It is a shame they are looked upon as the greatest of All Time. They were no where close in my opinion.

Yeah and the 2004 dolphins are one of the best ever, last team to beat the pats during their run.

One fluke game AT Miami on Monday Night Football...Anybody could lose in that situation with a solid Miami team jacked up for that game...

Believe me, I HATED that Bears' 85 team, but they would have Killed the 72 Dolphins...

That one fluke loss was all the motivation the 85 Bears needed to destroy everybody in the playoffs, and if the 72 Dolphins were waiting for them in the SuperBowl, the Bears would have dismantled them, too...

Gotta go with Bears. Ravens didn't have much of a pass rush. Teams should have tired to use 4 receivers sets against the number two ranked defence (lol) but both teams incredible down the middle (two tackle mlb), difference imo is mcmichael, hampton better pass rusher than goose adams. Lewis and singletary (awesome nonetheless) pretty lucky playing behind a couple of cement trucks!!
