OT: Google Talk -This software is amazing

This software is great. Voice instant messaging. All I can say is that this kind of software is the way of the future.

They say talk is cheap. Google thinks it should be free. Google Talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free–anytime, anywhere in the world. Google Talk offers you:

Choice: Get in touch over email, IM or a call
Quality: Talk through your computer but hear your friends as if they were in the same room
Convenience: Your Gmail contacts are pre-loaded into Google Talk so inviting or talking to your friends is just a click away

Only problem with google talk: There is practically no user base and I can promise you NOBODY wants to move from Skype/MSN;o(

Yep. But its free and u can be up running in a few minutes. My friends are recently starting to all join. It will only take a short time to spread out.

video.google.com is also very cool - watch free videos - search like normal. I don't know how but its obvious you can post videos on the site. It's still in beta, so i'm sure the number of videos will grow alot.

You should try skype then. Works through firewalls...has conference calling feature.

Yes, a friend uses it and that's all he talks about. He loves it. I haven't used it yet just because you have to be registered with GMail. To lazy to register.

It takes time. Google will take over the world... j/k..

it is cool software I dunno Y u trying to give me a hard time...

Give it another 6 months... My buddy list is filling up as more and more of my friends join.

We've been using Paltalk (a similar program) at DrugSense for over five years.

The voice messaging is solid and for those of us with video cams we can of course send and receive video images.

It also allows for traditional text messaging of all kinds.
