I am in the first week of the playoffs, and playing the commish who lets everyone know that he is all that. I would love to take him down, but to be honest I'm not very good at starting the right guys.

With Culpeper out my QB situation needs a little help. I have McNair, Frerotte, and Roethlisberger. NcNair is against Houston and I am leaning that way. Dont think Frerotte can get any late "comeback" td's as he probably wont be in the game. And Roethlisberger has thumb questions.

At running back I have Mike Anderson, Ricky Williams, Dillon, and Fred Taylor. Not too sure of the injury situations and looking for a little help.

Thanks, I'm counting on my RX brothers to bail me out

Definitely go for McNair, but make sure he's starting. I've got him on my team as well and I've seen conflicting reports about his practice time and whether they plan on starting him or Volek. Check the OUT reports tomorrow before his game, but if he's playing I'd say that's your best bet. Houston's pass D is terrible.

As for RB's I'd go for Mike Anderson of that bunch.

Take McNair against Houston, the worst pass defense in the free world. The playing status of the other two makes them both a risk.

I have Dillon and I think he'll score a couple of TDs. He may not make too many yards, however. Ricky Williams may be your next bet at RB.

Thanks guys. Is Dillon playing for sure? I kind of like Mike Anderson this week as they will need the big guy at the goal line against a tough defense, dont you think?

I guess the biggest problem I have is knowing who is and who isn't playing.

i am also in the playoffs - and i am playing Kodiak for the 2nd straight week. we have Favre and McNair @ QB (we actually have Team QB and that makes a huge difference) and are going with McNair. in your situation i would go with McNair. at RB i would definitely go with Dillon. sit ricky - SD has the #1 run D in the NFl and #27 vs the pass so stay away from Ricky. Taylor is "Fragile Fred" and against the Colts D - no thanks - leaving Anderson as your other choice

Thanks Winky, I was hoping you might respond. I agree with your thinking.

Dirty, I would think Carolina would be a better play. That should be a defensive struggle and if TB gets behind Sims could be good for a couple of INT's. I think Seattle will get a big lead and expect San Fran to score some in garbage time. Hard to have back to back shut outs. Thanks again guys and good luck.

seattle against Alex Smith? with this in mind you shouldn't have to ask

Seahawks KILL SF - a better chance for a defensive/special teams TD with Seattle - that is who i would start

D Davis ran for 155 yards against Baltimore's D last Sunday. Mike Anderson will have a field day even if he has to give some of the carries to the other backs. Also after last weeks loss to KC, Shanahan will look to establish the run again.

start Williams and Dillon

But Dillon might not play I think. Everything the Patriots do is shrouded in mystery. :icon_conf
