Without Lawerence Taylor, this guy is selling used cars someplace in Pennsylvania today.

Ok, maybe not.

But he is WAY overrated, AVERAGE head coach at tops.

Herm Edwards, Parcells has super bowl rings and I will always give him credit for the masterful game plan he had against Buffalo. Besides Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, Romeo Crennel, Charlie Weis, Nick Saban etc etc all learned a lot from Parcells.

he turned a sorry giants organization (people forget how bad they were befor ehe came) around and won 2 superbowls.

He turned the patriots around and took them very close to a superbowl

he turned the jets around and took them to the AFC championship game. And most of the best players on that team are former parcells draft picks or signing.

I think he has done a poor job in dallas thus far by picking up washed up QBs instead of doing his best to get a franchise type QB.

Either way, you are nuts if you think parcells isnt a fantastic head coach. He is one of the top 2 or 3 in the league and if he was available virtually any team in the NFL would take him.

in your heart, you know i'm right

It was 2000. You are 100% correct in that he has done nothing lately but he does not belong up there with Martz, Mike Sherman or Mike Tice. Is Billick a good coach? Yes. However, he might need a change of scenery real soon.

Dennis Green. He was lauded while in Minnesota. He had so much talent and never went to the Super Bowl. Now he's in Arizona, a trendy pick to win the the West this season, and look where they are now. Green also rumored to be head to Detroit. Why? He should join Matt Million in the unemployment line, IMO.
