up 2 with 2.2 to go and they throw in and never touch the ball and it goes out of bounds. They end up winning by 2 after b.c. also throws the ball away to end game. I was hoping to see exactly 4.

I would say you had a chance...but hitting both free throws in college is far from a "gimme"...not to mention BC still was going to get another shot.

Frustrating loss...but far from getting screwed.

who the hell would bet a basketball team at -2?? Take it on the ML or at least by a half point. Anything under 5 pts in basketball. Children know this.

dead right. YOU KNOW THIS.MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNn.

Dead wrong. It's ridiculous to make such generalizations as no one lays -2. You have to consider the options available and go from there. You might have the choice of either -2-105 or -135ML. You mean to tell me that you'd go with -135?

You were only screwed if you bet the spread. I had the money line both in the first half -155, and for the 2nd half -125, and I pushed the 2nd half, but playing money lines in close spread games is worth the cost, if you are gambling appropriately. gl NEWPORT

I'd rather take -135 than get screwed because of 1 or 2 points. better to have a short price, than a long face, RIGHT!?!?

bullring, you've got a lot to learn about handicapping...I bet the game -2 (-105) on an overnight line at pinnacle...they didn't even offer a money line on the game at that point...

If the line is -2 -105, the only way I would take the moneyline is if it was -120 or better.
