I don't give any NFC a chance at beating the Colts in the Super Bowl.

And Dante, what's with your avatar?

As hard as it seems to believe, I think the Patriots might worry them the most. Patriots are getting healthier and are playing a lot better. Can Colts beat the Patriots when it really counts ? I believe they can but it will pose a threat IMO

I know who it is and grew up watching it too BUT, it's just a bit below your standards. Go back to the skull with moving eyes, much sharper! LOL.

Back to topic... The Colts may encounter stiffer competition in the playoffs than with an NFC opponent in the Super Bowl.

THis team could lose to any team in playoffs but that will only happen if they play badly, which isn't likely. In other words they can beat themselves

Seahawks are playing with a lot confidence and are as good as the 2nd best AFC team.

Patriots are flying under the radar now.

Not drinking the Seahawks kool-aid just yet J'man. Best team in a bad division in an inferior conference. They CAN be scored upon with regularity by talented teams. Holmgren coaches like a chimpanzee and is risking injury to starters lately in blowouts with Philly and SFO when his team has little depth. Seattle could easily lose to Indy, Pitt, NE maybe San Diego or even KC.

Now teach Dante how to choose a MAN'S avatar.

:suomi: Jimmy, smartest move you ever made as a poster was switching that name of yours...I can't recall who you were before, but ever since the switch you've become a poster with clout.

your PR guy deserves a raise for suggesting the switch

Lovie Smith switches starts Grossman, he throws for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns the Bears win 31-10 final week of the season against Minny.

Then we have a contender.

No Team has the offensive line to handle the Colts passrush while at the same time having the defense to slow them down. The Seahawks have the O-line, the Broncos probably have the defense now with their improvements in the secondary and super quick linebackers.

Denver has the best shot. They have lost @ Indy 2 straight years. Better defense this year, more improved running game. Questions in my mind are; can they keep freeney off plummer (not impressed by their O-tackles). To do so, they will have to do lots of play action predicated off the sucess of the running game. 2. Can Bailey matchup on Harrison? If so, then you have something, because you have 10 peices with which to play some crazy Patriots like zone. Playing a Man-zone combo is the way to defeat the Colts (Like NE did with Law). 3. Can Denver run the ball enough to play Keepaway. They have structured this team to beat INDY, much like Philly drafted to beat the Rams a few years ago.

I really like Denver's size at the END positions. That is very helpful in defending the running game. They also have the fastest linebackers in the league by far.

The weakness I see is Denver pass blocking during straight drop backs. The way to fix this is obviously to run the football, thus limiting the amount of straight drop back passes Plummer must throw.

Seattle. Who has quietly put up some big numbers and should get thru the NFC fairly easy in my opinion.
