AT the current time, 3-10 GREEN BAY should be a heavy favorite.......

to win the NFC NORTH next year.

However, the lines makers may not see it this way.

A lot will still depend on how the free agent market plays out, whether Brett will return, trades, and the draft....................but would recommend that one keep a close eye on this developing overlay.

ABSOLUTELY!

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!

Remember, this team has had a TON of injuries..........a few that are all-pros.

Remember, the Pack has been hit with many injuries, especially offensively.
They also have been in every game and lost most by a field goal or less. If Favre returns along with a healthy Walker, Green and Franks, look out. I don't know if I would say a heavy favorite, but certainly worth a look.:suomi:

I know, but a HEAVY favorite? I think that's a bit of an overstatement. Even though I would disagree, I could see you saying they should be the favorite, since none of the teams in their division are powerhouses. If the Bears manage to hang on and win the division, they'll probably be favored to win next year with either Grossman back at QB or a free agent signing.

No question a lot of specifics will need to be addressed by all the teams in the division, but very optimistic as a Packer Backer that the Packers will retain their NFC NORTH crown next year at this current time.

It's hard for this Bears fan to listen to optimistic Packer fans:drink:

Heavy favorite could resemble this scenario........

GREEN BAY 9-5
Minnesota 5-2
Chicago 3-1
Detroit 8-1

The ironic thing here is that we are talking about a team that is currently 3-10.........thats my main point.

When healthy, it would appear to this unbiased observer that they have far more talent than any other team in the division by a landslide at the current time.

Are those your odds, or your projected Vegas odds? Those might be the odds if they get a new QB in the offseason.

How in the world a CHICAGO BEARS fan can knock BRETT FAVRE is beyond my comprehension.

By doing so, you are opening the door to some heavy humilation.

You know, BEFORE Brett ever won the first of his three Mvp and the Superbowl, all I ever heard was how TERRIBLE AND ERATIC Favre was from rival fans of other teams.

Well, you seen what happened there!!

I knew that would get at least one person riled up. He didn't look so good in his last outing against the Bears though...looked like he was happy to leave the field under his own power:suomi:

By no means am I saying that he hasn't been bitchslapping the Bears for the last decade, sadly it's true. He's starting to look pretty old though, I think.

Why is he looking old??

He has as strong an arm as 90% of the quarterbacks in the league and he still is as agile as over 50% of them.

TERRIBLE mistakes at times, but that is Brett being Brett................and that stuff is going to happen more often when you have very limited talent around you and he attempts to do to much.

Quite frankly, he looks as good physically as basically ever in his career.

Green Bay should be leading the division THIS YEAR even with all of the injuries. Favre has killed them.
