RX Members- Please Respond. Western Union Refund Problems at various Firms

Can anyone validate this problem, where Western Union today Monday is telling various firms they can take money in, but cannot at this time refund because WESTERN UNION says they are pulling out of various locations.

Before I get specific on the firm, I though I would throw it out there for discussion.

payout refund the same thing...Yes this is what I am saying. Western Union has told one firm to look for another locations to REFUND or PAYOUT back to players from.

Now if it is bullshit from this firm, I will expose them, if it has merit, I want to know about it. They say by Wednesday they most likely wil have it rectified. But one thing I do use the RX for is to gan the right answer or expose the un truth. I am actually EXTREMELY satisfied with this firm, and they are new to me, but I have had great winnings over the past two weeks, and I like their style, but this was news to me, and I want to hear if anyone else has heard it

I made a withdrawal today by Neteller but was asked if I wanted it Western Union - that seemed to IMPLY (at least) that WU was working fine.

This is a book that uses Nicaragua for its WU, by the way.

Sounds sort of fishy. Being that the majority of sportsbooks are located in CR, I would have to assume that if one book is having this problem, then it should be widespread. If your book is not in CR (England, ect), then I can't imagine that Western Union would be a problem. Most deposits are sent to MAJOR cities....Just can't see where WU would be "down", or whatever.

Also, the whole "we can accept, but we can't send out" story seems extremely suspicious. I would call western union to verify the books' claim. They schould be able to answer such questions.

Would love to know the book in question. Why not mention it? It's not as though you are "exposing" them. If this is their claim, it can't do no harm. Nothing more than giving the rest of us a heads-up.

FYI....BetJamaica has this on their site regarding WU payouts....
**Due to a new payout location, temporarily withdrawals requests via Express Money Transfer are taking 12 hrs for verification, due to time difference. Requests made between 8am and 4pm EST will be available late evening or the next morning.**

Well, I will expose the firm at this point, not because they are not working on it, but there are firms that are not in CR, OLY being one of them.

They use St John ANtigua, which coincedentally I just came back from a cruise a week ago. I like the firm a great deal, and obviously they are well known. I actually enjoy dealing with the Jamaican contigent of customer service then I do the CR latino contigent. Much more respectful to the customer. Also Wally is a great old school chap in accounting, and I like him. And the lady, and I will keep her private in finance accounting has been nice as well. They are looking for a new location outisde of Antigua, The answer I was given, is that it was WU international giving them the hassle out of St John Antigua, relative to sending WU out

So NOW does anyone have anything to offer, and and BY the WAY, I am getting money from them in different ways, it was just I wanted to validate this situation as it is most convenient as we all know

CASH in HAND is better than Cash in WIRE sometimes Capiche??

NETELLER is the ONLY way to go ...not sure unless people have to because they can not get neteller in there area, why they use WU at all..boggles my mind

I am sure what othe motive you might have for this comment, and I respect your opinion, but in

5 books I have dealt with, no one is picking up the net teller in coming percentage fee, where most books over 250-300 pick up all fees fro WU, and now many books are offering e-check which is free of charge. So I understand Neteller plays the game, and gets it done with their processes, but they ae costly for the user, and many firms will not pick up all their costs.

And Western Union on the recieve end, cannot beat it in my book. for 60 bucks I have 20 crisp 100's in my pocket to go do as I please in 15 minutes. Still a great cash asset to have around!!!

As i am sure that ALL of you know, NO matter how you withdraw it ALL leaves a paper trail. This may not matter to some, and then again it might someday.

Well, suppose you tried to scalp/middle a number with your local against an offshore and the middle doesn't hit. You now need to pay The Man on Thursday (or Friday) and by the time you get a Neteller payout by Fed Ex and cash the check, its already next week. The only option left is to ask for a WU and get raped with the charges.

yeah, I wouldn't even mes with Western Union...Neteller is the way to go...
