Has anyone had any successes playing blackjack online? I started playing a few days ago at nine.com and I'm not having any luck. I was curious if the odds at the online casinos were the same/different as what could be expected in playing in Vegas. Any thoughts?

I don't get why people play casino games online. No way to regulate it. At least with Poker you know you have a fair shot playing against real people.

At most places, you will have a fair shot. That being said, you need to remember that a fair shot still makes playing blackjack -EV, because the house has the advantage.

Throw in some strong bonuses, however, and you should be able to make the game +EV.

I have played, won and collected online. And all with free accounts. However, remember you are playing a negative expectation game and you are likely to lose. The odds are worse than playing in a land based casino as you are playing against 6 decks that are shuffled after every hand. This increases the casino edge about 1 percent over a land casino edge. Being their edge is greater there is less of a chance of you winning but I do think for the most part their games are dealt fairly.

Nonsense, almost all online casinos deal a fair game just like Las Vegas.

However you can expect to lose 0.5% to 1% of all your bets with perfect playing strategy. Thus there is no way to win long term without some sweetener.

Hard to play perfect playing strategy when you draw a 20 and the dealer constantly pulling a 21 from their ass. These casinos exist for a reason and it's not to give everyone a fair shake and have the same hold as Vegas or AC. Do they have winners? Most definitely! But at the loss of how many people? Anyone who compares a land based casinos to an online as far as the proportion of winners to losing playing "perfect strategy" or not is out of their minds!

I strongly believe the casinos at online sportsbooks rip you off.

I made a little success at online casinos but never won casinos at sportsbooks. I had like 1-10 on blackjack at pinnaclesports.com, lost all of my balance. I was better at gosportbet.com but couldn't win after all.

You shouldn't play casinos at sportsbook. Go to online casinos if you wanna play casinos.

If there is any consolation, I had no out of pocket loss here, but I drained a perfectly good out. Still it was a good couple of weeks of profit here and it didn't stop me from going out and puking off my back porch.
