I always call for the 10 second run-off when my team is on defense and the clock is ticking and the offense commits a penalty, but its never called. Leave it to when I'm on the team that does commit the penalty to get the 10-second run off. Either always call it or never call it, there are like 4 or 5 calls that some officials make and some don't, stop with the discretionary officiating this isnt the fvcking NBA

I would be surprised if it were that blatantly wrong....the run off only occurs if the player is 10 yards behind the line, every ref should be well aware of this, it goes hand and hand with intentional grounding in the final minutes.

Ten second runoff should be for any offensive penalty. Designed to prevent teams from intentionally committing false start penalities, etc. I agree that it is rarely called when it should be.
