Did I get screwed on this cell phone deal..I think I did?

Nextel phone

Plan is $49.99 a month for 300 minutes , all incoming minutes are free.

Every thing else is free, nights weekends etc.

I feel like I got screwed when I look around now I see much better deals.

Nextel phone.

I felt the minutes were somewhat low, but do have free incoming anytime...most of my calls during the day are incoming.

Just alittle info on Nextel. I assume you got the 2 way option. The signal for Nextel phones is the worst in the business. If you travel alot. You will have lots of dead zones. Nextel only concentrates on highly populated areas, and major interstate highways. Once you go off the beaten path you lose your signal quickly.

I think your direct connect is also unlimited and not couonted towards any of your minutes...so if you use that instead you would not need to worry about the minutes.

Ok ok..then what is the best plan/phone you can get?

As far as the phone goes the signal seems fine where I'm at, haven't had a problem...

Isn't Nextell like the biggest out there?

National 1000 plan..............1000 anytime minutes, unlimited nights & weekends and unlimited direct connect. $54.99 That's in Michigan.

I think the free incoming calls will help. You could always get someone to call you back real quick and it'd be free for you.

I think that's why you got only 300 mins because incoming calls are free. I do like that feature.

With Nextel you have like 10 days to bring back the phone and cancel your policy, or before 100 mins are used
