I've said this in a million threads already...if the Texans take Reggie Bush it proves that their front office is truly DEMENTED

the LAST thing the Texans need is a RB...

You either take Reggie Bush or trade down to get a boatload of picks but its clear as day the Texans want the number 1 spot.

But you have to take the best player available when you're that bad. You need playmakers. Someone who can score.

Trade Dominc Davis. He's terrible anyways. They'll get like a 3rd round draft pick for him maybe.

Why not pick maybe the best player to come out of college in years?

Hope the Packers take Chad Greenway.

It might be between him and AJ Hawk. I'm sure Kampman and Cole being there won't hurt Greenways chances.

Long way to go in this sweepstakes.

sporting news named greenway 3rd best senior prospect ahead of Hawk and Ryans from Alabama.
Leinart was one and OT from Virginia 2.

Would be hard to believe he missed it on purpose only because the curret players and coaches need to try for their own futures.

Does make ya wonder though...it would be very hard for something like that not to come out at some point.

This team needs a hell of a lot more than one player..

And the current players couldn't care less who they draft.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

You must subscribe to the DETROIT LIONS philosophy of drafting? Roy Williams, Mike Williams! You gotta take the best player available to you, every year, no matter his position!

Fact is, that's bogus. Domanick Davis on any team but the Houston Texans is a Top 10 running back, hands down. Sure, they'd like to have Reggie Bush instead, but they have much greater concerns at other positions (linemen, defense)

What they should, and hopefully will for their sake, do, is trade down in the draft for several good linemen (O or D), linebackers or secondary players (S/CB). Then they'll draft linemen and D with their lower draft picks.

Always taking the best player available is an idiotic proposition.

The question now becomes, HOW could you possibly lay money down on the Houston team for the rest of the season? I know they've been doing a great job of covering lately, but after this missed field goal, I know I'm not going to take a chance on them!

The Jimmy Kimbe MNF halftime comedy piece on the miss kick...might not have been that far fetched
