I'd like to publicly thank MegaSB for giving me what will no doubt be my best Christmas present this year: allowing me to be a dumbass without consequences, just this once. I placed a seriously incorrect wager due to misreading a line, and they were kind enough to cancel the bet for me despite it being a valid bet as defined by their ToS.

The line calculator at MegaSB might could use some tweaking to avoid such mistakes in the future (it was a teaser bet that totaled out to 1.00, or "+0" i.e. bet $100 to win $0) but the fact is that it said right there in English, "Your stake $100, odds 1.00, total return including stake $100" and I pressed the 'Submit' button anyway because I was in a hurry and saw "+100" rather than "+0" (this, despite thinking to myself, "heh, that's odd -- the seven-point pays out better than the five-point.")

I really appreciate the indulgence, and thought that some public affection was in order.

I think a book should be obliged to refund a play like that - it is an obvious human error for a line that is clearly way off market.
