At 1:30AM EST Rx. Tech Support will do a website upgrade. This should take beteeen 45 minutes to an hour. Everyone will be logged out during the upgrade. In order to navigate the site correctly when you log back in you will need to clear temp files or cache due to the new wysiwyg editor version, if you dont clear temp files you will have problems posting. Cookies will not be affected.

I believe the upgrade will make Rx. Forums even easier to navigate.

Thanks, wil..

Wil:

Do you mean clear temporary files under the "Tools" menu on the top of Internet Explorer? If so, then click on "Internet Options" followed by a click on "Delete Files". This is the only way I know how to delete temporary files. I don't even know where the cache is. Sorry for the questions. Just need a little guidance. Thank you.

I'm not sure Santo, but I'll pass your question on to the Admins.

It's been tested in another VB Forum and so far no problems,

Just testing to see if everything is working from my end. Didn't clear temporary files or cache, so let's see if this gets through.

Looks like everything went through alright. Nice new box on the edit feature.

There is something thats been pulled from cache that belongs to the old version of the forum, please make sure to delete ALL cache / temporary internet files , that should fix it. After that, close and reopen the browser.
Hope it gets fixed.

If the error is about AJAX , it might mean your browser isnt currently supporting AJAX, ajax is the technology that interacts with php to provide all the newest "on the fly" features that the new forum version has.

I would recommend a browser upgrade , or switch from browser type. Ajax is starting to be a widely used technology on the web, its a little amazing if AOL browser is not fully supporting it. Firefox, mozilla, IE, Safari among other support it on their latest versions.

Hope gets solved.
