Would also have to guess the Cornhuskers, originally was gonna say the Packers, but think they'd have way more than 275 home games since 1962.

Yep, and they're adding 6,500 seats for the 2006 season to put the capacity just shy of 80K.

Actually maybe not..since Green Bay played a couple games each year at Milwaukee for many seasons , not all the games were played at Lambeau .

Overall it would be very close... 43 years, 8 home games a year and 7 before that and 6 at one point, as the schedule has grown from 12 to 14 to 16 games per season.

What do they get in attendance for Spring Ball TT? The last time I checked it was something like 60,000. When I went to school near there they used to let people in for free and there were maybe 20,000 that showed up.

I know that it's been huge with everyone checking out Callahan's offense (which, not surprisingly looks good against Neb's passing D). I don't think it was anywhere near that before the change. 20-40K is probably a safe guess-but I could swear that it isn't free. For some reason, I have it in my head that it was $5-10 bucks, and that was back around 1990.

Hope Iowa gets the Corn Holers on our schedule - we need some easy games before the Big Ten starts.

This one is a little tougher, but you don't have to go very far to find the answer.

Jarbo: KF is got a nice program in place .. great recruiting class last year and probably one of the Top 3 qb / rb combos next yr in Tate & Young ...
that defv line matured late in the year and they have a lb they picked up out of Minnesota that is a Greenway clone and stole a lb out of Purdues backyard that is a true stud and picked up one of the top wideouts in Texas that is from Tates hometown of Baytown

4 straight New Years games? ... Solid and the future looks bright for the Black / Gold backers

Word in Iowa City is that QB Recruit from last year - Christianson (sp?) makes Tate look like a Jr High player!

I was under the impression, the schools had signed a contract to meet sometime soon, but Iowa's upcoming schedules don't show the Huskers. But Iowa does play Syracuse a couple of times and I don't recall the Hawks and the Orange ever playing in football.

And currently sucking wind at mid 30's to low 40's in this year's recruiting class rankings.

I knew I had seen it at one time. Remember, this is a Spring football practice we're talking about here. This after a poor year.

"A.J. Wallace needed all of three words before mentioning the big number everyone remembers from last year's Nebraska spring football game.
"They're talking about 61,000," Wallace said, referring to attendance of the 2004 Red-White Game at Memorial Stadium."

"Nebraska recruiting coordinator Scott Downing said the record 61,417 fans who attended the spring game last year "created quite a stir" in the recruiting community."
