Lost my butt off... Sunday..... have not been able to shake it off..... Took the Warriors for 300.00 then got nervous and took the rockets 2nd half +3- hoping the Rockets would pull away and get some money back.... end up costing me 400 bucks,,,,, just trying to get my money back... Thinking about taking some time off until saturday.. My head is just out of it.. Anybody get in this kind of rut... .... Maybe a few days off will restore my confidence???

Never hurts to step back and take a breather if you're in a rut. Step out of the game entirely for a few days, or just make some air bets until your results do something to restore your confidence.

I've been going great for a week, put up an 0-13 ( NBA and NHL) in tracker forum today, capped by an empty netter with 20 secs left, a nice .5 loss on Sac Kings, etc. I did win a few bets on non tracker stuff, but real awful day.

Been there Ghost, believe me.....It will pass. I don't understand the thinking though in the wagers. You wind up with Houston -4.5 on the game and Gs pick...If Houston winds up winning by 1,2,3 or 4 you get screwed on both sides..I don't get it...

Vegas is right. That 2nd half bet makes no sense.

Maybe you just got the gambling jones a little too much right now. It happens. You like the action so much you start to get careless with the wagers. Almost all of us have been there. Try and take 2-3 days off and rethink your strategy. You will bounce back!
