I've looked at a ton of house plans on the web, but I havent really seen any with a large entertainment room, so my builder is just going to do a custom job probably. Right now the room he has is 48 X 24, which may be a bit too long, so I may bring that down to 40 feet or so. Basically that is the most important thing to me with the house, I want a big room to hang out with friends in. Big Screen plus a couple smaller flatscreens, pool table, bar. Does anyone know anywhere on the web to see people's setups in rooms like this?

i would look more in home builder and home design magazines. lots of prefabricated house plans and maybe one will have the room in it you like.

Great question...I am in a similar position. Pretty much coming up with a custom floorplan with no clue on what I am doing. All I know is I want a big bedroom and big entertainment room.

Are there any good sites to grab helpful info?

slightly off topic

Always pictured my game room with all the MLB helmets and NFL helmets ,all hanging up, the real ones...expensive, but would make any game room authentic.

Sister and brother-in-law have a basement that rivals ESPN Zone. Bar, pool table, poker table, 5 big screen TVs and enough Packer and Notre Dame memoribilia to make you sick.
