Anyone ever have Pinnacle say: The wagering line for this event was changed after you

made your selection. So I go to refresh and it still gives me the same line. I thought maybe I made too large of a bet so I lower my bet and get the same thing.

I found Maccabi Tel Aviv at +145 at bet365 and found Barcelona -135 at Pinnacle for European basketball. I bet the bet365 amount and now I'm stuck on one side of a scalp. All my other books don't have the -135 odds.

Added note: I logged in 10 minutes later at Pinnacle and now found it at -140. They must have locked out bets for 10 minutes on that scalp.

to avoid that problem in the future book both bets at exactly the same time one via phone one via net if possible. only confirming your readback via phone when you see the screen tell you "wager accepted".

Thanks earl. I'll consider that, especially when something like this happens.

I had never encountered Pinnacle posting a line and then saying the line changed and when I refresh the same line was there. Just something to be aware of I guess.

Seems like a lot of work for just $5.

Yeah, I had it happen to me a few times recently. Multiple times in a row actually. Then the line changes a little while later. There's also another bug, sometimes it says the wager was already submitted and gives you this weird screen.

That's my biggest complaint about them is that screen. There are times you can't even get a bet in right before a game beacuse of it.

There was one time (not too recently though) I encountered that screen for almost 5 minutes straight every time I tried to bet this one game because they kept changing the line every 15 seconds or so. The game started and I missed out. You can guess which side won...

They need a screen that shows the new line and lets you bet it like other books have.

Maybe we can all e-mail them with this same suggestion. Pinnacle seems to be pretty savvy and if they want to do this I am sure they can find a way to achieve it with their software.

It happens all the time. It's just another one of the many annoying things that Pinnacle does. Try getting a bet down when they post lines for the 2nd and 4th quarters of football games.

As much as I like Pinny it happens to me quite a bit when I'm doing parlays or browsing down the props list. The rule seems to be over 60 sec. you need to refresh/update lines.

Maybe it's only when the line is getting hit hard like when scalps occur or perhaps if some sharps are hitting the line.

It happens a lot during halftime betting and live betting. You guys are right, they should offer you the new line and let you bet into it immediately. I have had this happen three or four times in a row and never got my bet in.
