Fishing On Betfair Pro Style

The great thing about exchange betting is as long as you know your figures its just like fishing, select your bait, decide your length of line, wait for a unsuspecting minnow and reel in :money:

However, as all fisherman know, there are rules to be abided by and some freakish things happen. We all know you shouldnt get pissed while at the water's edge, that minnow might turn out to be a 30LB line changing Pike, :sad3: but as I like a drink, I am prepared to take what comes by.

A bigger problem was today, while stone-cold sober fishing the back-water of the Chiefs-Giants game, I caught a 50Ft Anaconda:scared1:
I had put in a £100@ -110 Kansas +3.5 and was delighted some time later when my bait had been taken. It was then that the alarm bells went offhno: Some dopey geezer at Betfair had put the market in as Giants +3.5 and I was now at the end of bait:scared: Thank god it was only £100, I quiet often leave £500+ bets in there. To add insult -140 was also taken later for £300 which outbid my hopeful -125

All of which shows, even if you are as sharp as me:neenee: get the prices right and are completely sober, there is always a hole to fall into.

the other day, when trading on the MANSION exchange, I was a couple minutes away from Kick off....

I clicked on my Bet, & at the Mansion exchange it automatically pre-populates the maximum amount available at that price....

I accidentally clicked before changing the amount, I also unchecked the confirm screen making confirmation unecessarry....

turned out I had 3K on a side I only wanted 300$ on. :sad3:

luckily I was able to buy back as the side lost to boot

I dont mind making mistakes, thats my fault but putting in a market like that was a curved ball, when I get on to my mates who work there tomorrow, this geezers history. Then again, it might have been one of them.:sad3:

I havent talked for a long time, hope all's OK with the best MOD outside the States.

How do you uncheck the confirm screen??? Must be that show verify eh? Does that mean it will not ask you the next time until you re-check it?

I think it shows up every time you go to make a bet, but you can uncheck it within the first screen, to avoid the need for the confirmation screen......

I unchecked it, but forgot to change the dollar amount.... so I was fucked with a MASSIVE wager I did not want....

I just tested it, you are right, if you UNCHECK IT, it remains UNCHECKED, that way you do not have to go through the confirmation screen if you do not want to....

I think it DEFAULTS back to CHECKED if you log out & log back in however.....

Good attitude Winbet. You have busted people for less. Happens to me more than I will ever post while earning. Wish I could get into the exchange, but I ain't sharp, and those guys are, so I would have to learn it just to loose.
