To answer some of the questions that Fishhead posted earlier, that is the current line that the Las Vegas Hilton is posting for this game ! Seems low to me but who can argue with fACTS ?

I hope Seattle has reason to field a full team in the game. This will be the toughest matchup the Colts play all season in a hostile outdoor environment. Lets be honest, the Bengals are a good team, but they match up terribly on defense with the Colts. The Hawks will get into Manning's grill for as long as he is out there. Lets see what he does when he faces some pressure. I am surprised the line is that low, but I think there is a lot of value with Seattle as long as they are playing hard and using starters.

I agree 110% and Colts should haveing Everything "Except" the Streak locked up. I think the number of Colts -3.5 comes Tubbleing down! And the Colts too!

The line is low unless SD beats the Colts. If the Colts enter the Seattle game undefeated, you'll see a -6 by game time.

I just cant buy into the theroy that Dungee would take the chance of getting skilled players hurt in this meaningless game. I am sure that if and when this comes around, he will either Not let them play, or limit the playing time. This maybe the NFL game of the year as he might hold ALL information to game time deceision.

How would you like to have the Colts -3.5 or more, and at game time Dungee says" NO first teamers will be in the lineup today"? That would surely make you run to the restroom, as there would be No time to get off of your wager, or even worse if an when he said that Linemaker says to the clerks....Make SEATTLE -7 ! whew! Another thing either side wins by 3 in OT and you middle yourself !! whew!!!!!

I just don't buy into this meaningless game crap. Since when is running the table a meaningless feat ? Only one team has ever done it and that was over 30 years ago wasn't it ? To me going 16-0 is a far bigger accomplishment than the 30 + teams that have already won a Super Bowl. How many of you can recall 15 of those teams ? I sure can't but who doesn't remember the Dolphins going undefeated ? When you are this close to perfection, I can assure you that every person on that team and all the coaches want to run the table.

16-0 is not a bigger accomplishment, are you kidding me? I know every Colts player would much rather win the Super Bowl than go 16-0.

How many teams have won a Super Bowl ? How many teams have run the table ? That my friend is why every single Colt wants to not only go 16-0 but 19-0 ! Besides, sitting players and breaking Mo is never a good idea IMHO

I think they should play it out...I was commenting on what was more important 16-0 or SB win....I would play it out with starters .

I undedstand what you are saying completely. Yes i would kinda like to see them run the table and go 19-0 as others would.
But but but, what if, they play the starters and Manning gets "popped" and breaks a finger, arm, leg, the list goes on. Now that deceision looks "Awful" and they lose the first game in the playoffs. Without Manning that is possible for sure. So i still think that Dungee will NOT play the starters, or limit playing time considerable. And i think the line of Colts -3.5 comes tummbleing down. It might even go to My selection of Pick. It all depends on what Dungee does and when he tells us and the world.

If they're not going to play the entire game then don't play Manning and Co at all.

Indy 0-4 in preseason

The point is Dungy doesn't care about games that have no bearing on the Colts winning a Super Bowl, it is very relevant.

OK Let's play the " What if game " What if the coach sits out Manning the next 3 games. Certainly that is the " Safest " thing to do to prevent injuries ! However is it the safest way to win a Super Bowl ? I think you do what got you to 13-0 ! That certainly wasn't being afraid of your " What bad could happen " thinking. So Let's say the coach rests all his big stars because " He wants to prevent them from breaking their little pinkies !" They go on to lose their first playoff game because they are all out of Synch ? Everyone would blame the coach ! I know I sure would ! Play the game to win and don't play the " What if I break my pinkie bit" ! Just my opinion because I have seen team rest their stars and lose it all many times before. Besides going 19-0 would make them the team everyone would always remember !
