Toomer's entire leg below the knee appears to graze the turf.

That was crazy!

Phil Simms says 'his knee doesn't have to touch for him to be down'...that is news to me?

He menat that if his "calf" or his "shin" touch its the same thing....Its considered enough to be ruled down....I swear though, i have never seen a play like that where each time they replayed it, i thought different....

I didnt know a leg could bend that way..

I didn't think a shin could touch without the knee following, rubber man Toomer proved me wrong...I suppose a calf could touch without the knee but surely the butt would be down anyway....strangest play of that kind I've ever seen.

He might have meant that if his forward progress was stopped he was down.
