It is horrifing to watch and can be profitable for many at a table..people lose a hand or 2 and BAM full tilt until BROKE

these are the addicts to gambling not poker players IMO and I guess are gold mines to those that play solid

could be they figured out that some poker sites are said to be fixed and they took a couple bad beats and wanted the hell outta there! doubt it though, many many go on TILT.

Merry Xmas from the Vikes by the way....what a pathetic performance inside the red zone although I still say we got a TD taken away from us which could've meant a lot in that game...Defense was very good on both sides...Probably Pitts best D effort all season! Only TD was on a broken play/qb scramble!

I make most of my money online from those players. They are the lifeblood of anyone that makes money playing poker. But i think you see plenty of tilting from the good solid players as well. There are some really good players i play against that consistently win and will occasionally go on tilt. Personally i don't know of any poker player that hasn't tilted away a decent amount of money at one time or another.

I can explain from experience...not that it happens all the time....but

When I lose a great hand after getting crap cards for so long....Lets say I have 3 of a kind off the flop...and the rest are "rags"....When a player hits some kind of miracle flush, miracle straight.....It REALLY gets me going....I can not say it is "tilt" for sure, but I definitely tend to play differently....or in a pissed off mood....I do not go absolute broke like a true tilt, but it definitely affects my playing personally...

It actually happened last night....Some moron got a flush on the river, and I lost a GREAT hand.....next hand....I have ANOTHER super hand...and the guy gets a straight from holding on to the river...it wasn't even open ended

Realllllllllllllllllllllly sets me in a bad mood

Guilty as charged. That is why I stopped playing poker.

Going on TILT eliminates the shitty feeling you have from the bad beat, I think.
