if they miss the playoffs they have 3 reasons to hate themselves. losing at home to dallas,the steelers and miami killed them. the steeler loss was deadly. i took this off the chargers website:

Even with a huge victory over the Indianapolis Colts, San Diego could be on the outside looking in, watching the playoffs from home. They can help themselves by winning their final two games, but they will still need some help down the stretch.
At 9-5, San Diego could win its remaining two games (against the Chiefs and Broncos) and still be shut out of the playoffs. San Diego currently trails Jacksonville and Pittsburgh for the two AFC wild-card berths and will need outside help to advance to he playoffs.

Chargers might be talented, but I don't get why people talk about how good they are but outside. They are CHOKERS, but that is what you get when you play Marty ball. People talk about how tight the losses have been, but gee you think if they were that good and that talented they would have won a few more of those games. Brees sure did his best yesterday to complete another choke job, but the Colts just handed it right back.
